The Producers Guild of Sussex (PGS) is a trade association representing independent film and television producers and new media producers in Sussex, UK. The PGS's membership includes producers of commercial as well as independent film and television content who are based in Sussex. Its aim is to support and unite them as they strive to achieve the highest standards of film-making. It was founded by a group of Sussex film-makers, and the Producers Guild of Sussex president is Raphael Moran.

Types of Membership:
We have two types of membership:
Honorary Member - Chosen once a year by the board members of the PGS. You must have contributed to the film and television industry and you don't need to be a producer, or based in Sussex to be an Honorary Member. You will receive a free lifetime membership and eligibility for all the member benefits.
Member - Your work will be looked at by the board members of the PGS. You have to be a film or television producer. More info below.
Member Criteria:
We welcome applications from individuals currently working as producers in independent film, new media and television with at least two years of experience as a Producer, Line Producer, Assistant Producer, Executive Producer, or Supervising Producer of;
Commercial and independent films made and distributed in Sussex, UK
Television/new media content made and broadcast in Sussex, UK
You must also have a minimum of two credits as Producer

• You can use the Producers Guild of Sussex logo on your website, email signature, business card and headed paper (not vehicles, merchandise, etc.). Where the logo is used it should only be done so by associating it directly with the name of the member concerned.
• You can use the letters p.g.s after your name in credits or any professional setting. This signifies that you are recognised by the Producers Guild of Sussex and have met our membership requirements. It must be written in lower case letters with full stops in-between the letters: p.g.s
The membership joining fee is £30, plus £65 annual subscription, paid by direct debit.
ALL APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE REVIEWED AND WE CANNOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL.

"Use of Post-nominal Letters"
You can use the p.g.s mark after your name in credits or any professional setting. This signifies that you are recognised by the Producers Guild of Sussex and have met our membership requirements. It must be written in lower case letters with full stops in-between the letters: p.g.s
"Use of Logo"
You can use the Producers Guild of Sussex logo on your website, email signature, business card and headed paper (not vehicles, merchandise, etc.). Where the logo is used it should only be done so by associating it directly with the name of the member concerned
"Fee"
The membership joining fee is £30, plus £65 annual subscription, paid by direct debit. There is no fee for an Honorary Member. If you don't renew your annual subscription you will be removed from the PGS
"Behaviour"
All members must be professional and behave respectfully towards each other at our events and in our working lives. The PGS can refuse or remove members at any time
"Member Benefits"
Member benefits may change at any time. The current benefits are always updated on the website. You will receive unique codes for various companies who are offering discounts. Our events are ONLY for PGS members
